Людське мислення, здібність до творчості – найбільша з дарів природи. Потреба зрозуміти природу процесу творчості виникла, як наслідок необхідності впливати на творчу діяльність, щоб підвищити її ефективність. Ще древньогрецькі філософи прагнули в своїх системах навчання застосовувати методи, які розвивали б в дітях творче мислення. У трудах психологів творчість виступає як найбільш характерна, специфічна риса творчого мислення, що відрізняє його від інших психічних процесів, і в той же час розглядається суперечливий зв'язок її з репродукцією. Наукова новизна роботи полягає в тому, що визначені необхідності застосування арт-терапевтичних занять з метою розвитку творчих здібностей дітей дошкільного віку.

Human thinking, the ability to be creative is the greatest of nature's gifts. The need to understand the nature of the process of creativity arose as a consequence of the need to influence creative activity in order to increase its effectiveness. Even ancient Greek philosophers sought to use in their teaching systems methods that would develop creative thinking in children. In the writings of psychologists, creativity emerges as the most characteristic, specific feature of creative thinking, which distinguishes it from other mental processes, and at the same time considers its contradictory relationship with reproduction. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that the necessity of using art-therapeutic classes in order to develop the creative abilities of preschool children is determined
