У кваліфікаційній роботі проаналізовано сутність поняття «пізнавальний інтерес» у наукових дослідженнях; розкрито особливості формування пізнавального інтересу молодших школярів; охарактеризувано позакласну роботу як засіб формування пізнавального інтересу молодших школярів; визначено стан сформованості пізнавального інтересу молодших школярів; розроблено методику формування пізнавального інтересу молодших школярів у позакласній роботі; складено рекомендації вчителям початкової школи з формування пізнавального інтересу молодших школярів.

The purpose of the research: consists in theoretical substantiation and development methods of forming the cognitive interest of younger schoolchildren in extracurricular work. The qualification work analyzed the essence of the concept of "cognitive interest" in scientific research; the peculiarities of cognitive formation are revealed the interest of younger students; extracurricular work is characterized as a means formation of cognitive interest of younger schoolchildren; state is defined formation of cognitive interest of younger schoolchildren; developed method of formation of cognitive interest of younger schoolchildren in extracurricular work; made recommendations to primary school teachers from formation of cognitive interest of younger schoolchildren.
