Серед цих рис самооцінка виділяється як фундаментальний аспект характеру людини. Вона розуміється як особистісне утворення, яке керує поведінкою і відображає тонкощі внутрішнього світу людини. Самооцінка суттєво впливає на стосунки людини з оточенням, а також на її самокритику, самоактуалізацію та реакцію на успіхи та невдачі. Як таке, воно відіграє вирішальну роль у визначенні якості розвитку людини та успіху в її діяльності. По суті, самооцінка безпосередньо пов'язана з центральною потребою людини - самоактуалізацією, яка є прагненням виконувати дії, які приносять задоволення і відповідають її прагненням. Наукова новизна полягає в систематичному аналізі впливу самооцінки на самоактуалізацію особистості в період ранньої дорослості, що дозволяє розкрити ключові аспекти формування і розвитку особистості.

Among modern social trends, emphasis is placed on the qualities of the individual, which are of primary importance for its development. Among these traits, self-esteem stands out as a fundamental aspect of a person's character. It is understood as a personal formation that guides behavior and reflects the subtleties of a person's inner world. Self-esteem significantly affects a person's relationship with the environment, as well as his self-criticism, self-actualization, and reaction to successes and failures. As such, it plays a crucial role in determining the quality of human development and success in its activities. In fact, self-esteem is directly related to the central need of a person - self-actualization, which is the desire to perform actions that bring pleasure and correspond to his aspirations. The scientific novelty consists in the systematic analysis of the influence of self-esteem on the self-actualization of the individual in the period of early adulthood, which allows us to reveal the key aspects of the formation and development of the individual.
