Мовні засоби творення комічного в сучасних коротких англійськомовних оповіданнях

Abstract

UA : Робота викладена на 66 сторінках друкованого тексту. Перелік посилань включає 85 джерел. Об’єкт дослідження: комічне як естетична категорія в сучасній англійській літературі. Предмет дослідження: мовні способи і прийоми вираження комічного в художньому тексті. Мета роботи: проаналізувати комічне як естетичну категорію, виражену мовними засобами в сучасній літературі; виявити і дослідити ті ключові стилістичні позиції, які роблять мову письменників неповторним, визначити засоби комізму сучасних англомовних письменників. Теоретико-методологічні засади: аналіз літератури з проблеми дослідження, синтез, порівняння, класифікація, інтерпретацію для визначення засобів комізму та виявлення ключових стилістичних позиції. Отримані результати: у ході дослідження було з’ясовано визначення поняття комічного як естетичної категорії та установлено його невід’ємні характеристики, розглянуто теорії комічного, а також засоби і прийоми його творення. У практичній частині проаналізовано способи і прийоми вираження комічного на прикладах коротких оповідань сучасних англомовних авторів. Проведене дослідження показало, що іронія і гумор використовується приблизно в рівній мірі, хоча переважним способом вираження комічного є сатира. З'ясовано, що для англомовних авторів ХХ століття найбільш характерним є вживання комічного на рівнях сюжету, персонажа і речення, у той час як вираження комічного на рівні словосполучення є не таким розповсюдженим. Отже, комічне як естетична категорія проявляється на різних рівнях тексту і є визначальним чинником текстотворення в гумористичних творах.

EN : The work is presented on 66 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 85 sources. The object of research is the comic as an aesthetic category in modern English literature. The subject of research is linguistic methods and techniques of expression of the comic in the literature. The main aim of the paper consists in analyzing the comic as an aesthetic category, expressed by linguistic means in modern literature; explore and identify the key stylistic positions, identify the means of comic in modern English writers. Theoretical and methodological basis of research is the analysis of the literature on the problem of research, synthesis, comparison, classification, interpretation to determine the means of comedy and identify key stylistic positions. The scientific novelty of the presented research lies in the investigation of the ways and means of comic in the contemporary English short stories. The obtained results of the research is the definition of the concept of the comic as an aesthetic category was clarified and its integral characteristics were established, the theories of the comic, as well as the means and methods of its creation were considered. The practical part analyzed the methods and techniques of expressing the comic on the examples of short stories by modern Englishspeaking authors. The study showed that irony and humor are used approximately equally, although the preferred way to express the comic is satire. It was found that for English-speaking authors of the twentieth century the most typical is the use of comic at the levels of plot, character and sentence, while the expression of comic at the level of phrases is not so common. Thus, the comic as an aesthetic category is manifested at different levels of the text and is a determining factor in text creation in humorous works.
