Вербалізація концепту «LOVE» у творах американських письменників (на матеріалі літературної творчості Е. Сігала і О. Генрі)

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 58 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 90 sources. The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis and verbalization of the concept of “LOVE” in the works of American writers (E. Segal and O. Henry). The object of the work can be determined as the lexical composition of the functional-semantic field "love" and the verbalization of the concept "love" from the standpoint of linguo-culturology and linguo-cognitology. The main goal of the research comprises the reconstruction of the concept of "love" based on the works of American writers Eric Segal and O. Henry. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as:  investigation of the concept as a linguistic term and as a linguo-cultural category;  analysis of the structure of the concept of "love" in the literary text;  reconstruction of the concept of "love" in the works of certain American writers;  comparative analysis of the structured research concept within the works of O. Henry and E. Seagal. The research shows conceptuality with the intentions of the author and from the perspective of the reader. The concept is defined as the main category of the literary text. The importance of the topic is the study of current trends in the modern linguistics, the consideration of the problems of the concept as a whole, and the concept "love" in particular, as well as a detailed research of linguistic means of concept verbalization.

Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення про поняття «концепт», розроблені у лінгвоконцептології (Д. Лихачов, Л. Венедиктова, О. Воробйова, Р. Джекендоф та ін.) і лінгвокультурології (О. Джуматій С. Іванова, Н. Слухай, В. Беннет та ін.) Отримані результати: серед засобів дослідження вербалізації концепту було виділено функціонально-семантичне поле як головний метод аналізу концепту “love”. Важливим засобом реконструювання концепту на матеріалі художнього тексту є заголовок, який постійно апелює і таким чином, у творі відбувається реконструкція моделі концептуальної картини автора. Концепт “love” репрезентується певними семантичними блоками, які вербалізують концепт. Структури концепту “love” у художніх творах Е. Сігала та О. Генрі мають загальні та відмінні риси у будові досліджуваного концепту, а також часові зміни характерні для американської лінгвокультури.
