Формування соціокультурної компетентності майбутніх учителів англійської мови в процесі фахової підготовки

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 81 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 67 sources. The presented paper is dedicated to the formation of socio-cultural competence of future English teachers in the process of professional training. Subject of research can be defined as pedagogical conditions and structural functional model of formation of socio-cultural competence of future foreign (English) language teachers. The main aim is to develop, scientifically substantiate and experimentally verify pedagogical conditions of the formation of socio-cultural competence of future foreign language teachers in the system of higher education. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as:  to clarify the concept and structure of the sociocultural competence of the future foreign language teacher;  to develop a structural and functional model of the formation of their socio-cultural competence;  to carry out an experimental verification of the effectiveness of the methodology for implementing pedagogical conditions for the formation of sociocultural competence. Pedagogical conditions for the formation of socio-cultural competence of future foreign language teachers are defined as: the use of integrated tasks of a socio cultural orientation with variable content during the study of a foreign language; improving the content of the discipline by introducing topics about national and cultural features and the specificity of the national communicative behavior of speakers of a foreign language; integrated use of traditional and innovative teaching methods.

Мета дослідження полягає в розробленні, науковому обґрунтуванні та експериментальній перевірці педагогічних умов і структурно-функціональної моделі формування соціокультурної компетентності майбутніх учителів іноземної мови в системі вищої освіти. Теоретико-методологічні засади становлять положення теорії педагогічної діяльності (В. Бондар, Р. Гуревич, Н. Кузьміна); історії та теорії соціокультурної підготовки вчителя (О. Акімова, Л. Вовк, Н. Дем‘яненко, С. Сисоєва та ін.); теорії взаємодії культур (В. Біблер, А. Тойнбі, О. Шпенглер та ін.); законодавчі документи з проблеми гуманізації і гуманітаризації освіти та значення державної та іноземних мов у цьому процесі. Отримані результати. Застосування у процесі дослідно експериментальної роботи під час вивчення іноземної мови інтегрованих завдань соціокультурного спрямування з варіативним змістом; вивчення національно-культурних особливостей та специфіки національної комунікативної поведінки носіїв іноземної мови; забезпечення ціннісної орієнтації студентів на соціокультурну діяльність у процесі комплексного використання традиційних та інноваційних методів навчання сприяло формуванню у майбутніх учителів іноземної мови соціолінгвістичної компетенції.
