Мета дослідження полягає в теоретичному обґрунтуванні, розробці та експериментальному підтвердженні ефективності технології формування комунікативної компетентності майбутніх учителів іноземної мови. Об’єкт дослідження: процес формування комунікативної компетентності у студентів. Предмет дослідження: технологія формування комунікативної компетентності майбутніх учителів іноземної мови. У роботі обґрунтовано теоретико-методологічні засади проблеми формування комунікативної компетентності майбутніх учителів іноземної мови та уточнено сутність базових понять дослідження; визначено структуру комунікативної компетентності студентів – майбутніх учителів іноземної мови; розглянуто засоби та методи формування комунікативної компетентності майбутніх учителів іноземної мови; розроблено технологію формування комунікативної компетентності майбутніх учителів іноземної мови та перевірено її ефективність. Практичне значення дослідження полягає в тому, що складено технологію формування комунікативної компетентності студентів й розроблено практичний навчальний курс з англійської мови для майбутніх учителів іноземної (англійської) мови.

The purpose of the research is the theoretical justification, development and experimental confirmation of the effectiveness of the technology for the formation of communicative competence of future foreign language teachers. Object of research: the process of formation of communicative competence among students. The subject of research: the technology of formation of communicative competence of future foreign language teachers. The paper substantiates the theoretical and methodological foundations of the problem of forming the communicative competence of future foreign language teachers and specifies the essence of the basic concepts of the study; the structure of communicative competence of students - future teachers of a foreign language is defined; means and methods of formation of communicative competence of future foreign language teachers are considered; the technology of formation of communicative competence of future foreign language teachers was developed and its effectiveness was verified. The practical significance of the research lies in the fact that the technology of forming students' communicative competence has been developed and a practical training course on the English language has been developed for future teachers of a foreign (English) language.
