Збереження здоров’я та повноцінного життя громадян є однією з найважливіших цілей світової спільноти. Недосконалість системи охорони здоров’я, низький рівень усвідомлення цінності здоров’я як власного капіталу, перебування переважної більшості населення в умовах соціально-економічної нестабільності призвели до створення в країні несприятливих для ведення здорового способу життя умов. На тлі високих темпів депопуляції населення, кризи ціннісних орієнтацій, низького рівня знань основ здорового способу життя, нераціональної організації режиму рухової активності, слабкої мотивації до занять фізичною культурою і негативної динаміки вживання тютюну, алкоголю та наркотичних речовин проблема збереження та зміцнення здоров’я набуває все більшої актуальності. Стрімкий розвиток науки і техніки, ускладнення та інтенсифікація навчальних програм збільшили кількість подразників, що постійно впливають на організм учнів старших класів. В сучасних умовах навчання у старшій школі можна віднести до специфічного виду діяльності, пов’язаного з високим рівнем психічних і фізичних навантажень. Наявність негативних тенденцій у фізичному стані юнаків ставлять питання, що стосуються їх здоров’я та способу життя, пріоритетними в процесі навчання у старшій школі. Досягнення здоров’я стає можливим за наявності ціннісного ставлення, яке все частіше стає предметом теоретичного та експериментального вивчення у психологічній науці. Нaукoвa нoвизнa тa тeoрeтичнe знaчeння дoслiджeння пoлягaють у тoму, щo: емпірично дoслiджeнo психологічні особливості ціннісного ставлення до здоров’я в старшокласників; розроблено структурну модель ціннісного ставлення до здоров’я в особистості раннього юнацького віку; поглиблено, розширено та доповнено знання про здоров’я як психологічну категорію, еталони здоров’я та здорової особистості, ціннісний аспект ставлення до здоров’я; набули подальшого розвитку уявлення про науково-теоретичні підходи до вивчення здоров’я як цінності, конкретизовано особливості його прояву в ранньому юнацькому віці.

Preservation of health and full life of citizens is one of the most important goals of the world community. The imperfection of the health care system, the low level of awareness of the value of health as one's own capital, the presence of the vast majority of the population in conditions of socio-economic instability led to the creation of unfavorable conditions for leading a healthy lifestyle in the country. Against the background of high rates of population depopulation, a crisis of value orientations, a low level of knowledge of the basics of a healthy lifestyle, an irrational organization of the regime of motor activity, weak motivation for physical education and negative dynamics of the use of tobacco, alcohol and narcotic substances, the problem of preserving and strengthening health acquires all more relevant. The rapid development of science and technology, the complication and intensification of educational programs have increased the number of irritants that constantly affect the body of high school students. In modern conditions, studying in high school can be attributed to a specific type of activity associated with a high level of mental and physical stress. The presence of negative trends in the physical condition of young people makes issues related to their health and lifestyle a priority in the process of studying in high school. Achieving health becomes possible in the presence of a valuable attitude, which increasingly becomes the subject of theoretical and experimental study in psychological science. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the research are that: the psychological features of the value attitude to health among high school students were empirically investigated; a structural model of the value attitude to health in the personality of early youth was developed; deepened, expanded and supplemented knowledge about health as a psychological category, standards of health and a healthy personality, a valuable aspect of attitude to health; ideas about scientific and theoretical approaches to the study of health as a value have gained further development, and the peculiarities of its manifestation in early youth have been specified.
