Предмет дослідження: процес формування пізнавальної активності студентів у процесі навчання у закладі вищої освіти. У роботі проаналізовано стан проблеми формування пізнавальної активності в сучасній педагогічній науці; визначено структуру пізнавальної активності студентів; розглянуто особливості розвитку пізнавальної активності у студентському віці; експериментально досліджено сучасні методи формування пізнавальної активності студентів. Практичне значення дослідження полягає в тому, що пропоновані матеріали дослідження можуть бути використані в процесі професійної діяльності викладачів закладів вищої освіти та в процесі професійної підготовки студентів.

The paper analyzes the state of the problem of formation of cognitive activity in modern pedagogical science; the structure of students' cognitive activity is determined; the peculiarities of the development of cognitive activity at the student age are considered; modern methods of forming students' cognitive activity were experimentally investigated. The practical significance of the research is that the proposed research materials can be used in the professional activity of teachers of higher education institutions and in the process of professional training of students.
