функціонування термінологічного дискурсу комунікаційних технологій;
контент», «чутливий воєнний контент»;
зокрема;
телевізійних журналістських матеріалах;
воєнного контенту»;

The aim of this research is to investigate the application of communication
technologies, particularly propaganda techniques, in generating sensitive military
content. This content is presented in the news discourse of Ukrainian and Russian TV
channels, through a comparative analysis of both. The study aims to identify the
distinctive features of these techniques, and their impact on the audience.
The aim of the paper is to accomplish the following tasks:
1) to analyze the study’s theoretical and methodological basis, the following
issues will be examined: the current state of development of theoretical foundations
for communication technologies, including propaganda technologies, the unique
characteristics of terminological discourse in communication technologies, and the
specific developments in both theory and practice regarding the concepts of «military
content» and «sensitive military content»;
2) to generally characterize communication technologies and propaganda
technologies in particular;
3) to reveal the particularities of applying methods of propaganda in television
journalism materials;
4) to elucidate the fundamental principles of «military content» and «sensitive
military content» in the discourse of television journalism and to proffer our own
interpretation of «sensitive military content»;
5) to analyze and compare television news stories in the Public Broadcasting
Company’s slot as part of the national marathon «United News», a special broadcast
featuring sensitive military content on the «Time» programme, for the purpose of
propaganda techniques.

The study focuses on the sensitive military content featured in Ukrainian and
Russian news discourses on television during the periods of 24 February 2022 to
2 March 2022, and 24 February 2023 to 2 March 2023. The examination utilizes a
special broadcast of the Public Broadcasting Company, the Public Broadcasting
Company's slot within the national telethon «United News», and the programme
«Time» as examples.
The subject of the study is the specifics of the use of communication
technologies, specifically propaganda technologies, in sensitive military content
showcased in the Public Broadcasting slot during the national event «United News»,
a distinctive transmission of the Public Broadcasting Company and the television
programme «Time».
Results achieved: Analyzing TV news materials of Suspilniy air as part of
«Yedini Novini» (United News) special air of Suspilniy and «Vremya» program that
contain sensitive military content on the subject of using propaganda we found out
that propagandist rhetoric can be traced through both media outlets. More precisely,
in «Suspilniy» reels in 7 days in 2023 there were 11 news materials that contained
propaganda, which would be 7.8% of the total 141 materials that contained sensitive
war content. On the other hand in 7 days, «Perviy» aired 42 materials with SMC
(sensitive military content) that contained propaganda, which nets us 80.7 % of the
general amount of newsreels containing SMC.
Comparing the data we can conclude that russian «Perviy» as opposed to
Ukrainian «Suspilniy» uses propaganda containing 72.9% more propaganda when
relaying sensitive military-themed information to the inside consumer. The most
popular practices that propagandists use include but are not limited to «Branding»
(20 instances) «Euphemisms» (15 instances) «one-sided argument» (15 instances).
