The object of the study is the venous blood of men and women with Covid-19.
Purpose - to study the indicators of the functional state of the liver and kidneys in men
and women with Covid-19 in the dynamics of treatment.
Research methods - biochemical and statistical.
It was found that in patients with Covid-19, there is an increase in ALT, AST
activity and urea and creatinine levels, which indicates a burden on the liver and
kidneys. Treatment leads to a decrease in these indicators, but not all of them return to
normal. ALT, AST, urea, and creatinine levels in men change significantly during the
disease, in which they decrease after treatment but remain elevated.
The novelty of the study is that it is the first to investigate the differences in the
impact of Covid-19 on the functional state of the liver and kidneys in women and men at
the onset of the disease and after treatment.
Significance of the work - the results of the study expand the understanding of the
impact of Covid-19 on the functional parameters of the liver and kidneys in the blood of
men and women, which may contribute to the development of more individualized
approaches to the treatment of patients of different sexes. The results of the work can
significantly increase the understanding of the specific features of the impact of Covid19 on these organs, which in turn will help in the development of more effective
treatment and prevention methods.
The results obtained can be used in therapeutic departments to assess the
effectiveness of therapy and to prevent complications in patients with Covid-19.
