Purpose: to study the system of motivation and incentives for the staff of the restaurant «McDonald's», to identify its strengths and weaknesses, to develop and substantiate recommendations for its improvement. Research methods: descriptive, comparative, analytical, tabular, graphical, balance sheet, statistical analysis, grouping and summarising data, expert opinions. The relevance of the topic of this work is that in the current conditions of fierce competition in the restaurant services market, an effective system of motivation and incentives for staff is becoming one of the key factors in the successful functioning of any restaurant enterprise. Not only the quality of customer service, but also the overall productivity of the restaurant, its competitiveness and financial results depend on the level of employee motivation.
