In the master's work the research of thermal networks was conducted; different variants of thermal insulation and their characteristics. An analysis of the literature
sources on the efficiency of thermal insulation and thermal networks was performed. On the basis of the obtained results the dependences of the optimal thickness of the insulation on the diameter of the pipelines are deduced and conclusions are drawn. The efficiency of introduction of pre-insulated foamed cyclopentane pipelines has been proved.
