Об’єктом дослідження є діяльність банків у сфері споживчого кредитування АТ КБ «ПриватБанк».
Метою кваліфікаційної роботи магістра є узагальнення основних тенденцій ринку споживчого кредитування України, а також визначення основних проблем, що перешкоджають його розвитку.
Завдання: розглянути та уточнити сутність та необхідності особливості споживчого кредиту й теоретичні аспекти споживання; розглянути процес споживчого кредитування в банківських установах; визначити місце споживчих кредитів в кредитному портфелі АТ КБ «ПриватБанк» та провести аналіз щодо управління кредитним ризиком та мінімізації його; надати пропозиції щодо розвитку споживчого кредиту в Україні.
Методи досліджень: абстрактно-логічний; статистично-економічний; системний аналіз.
Одержані результати та їх новизна: запропоновано методику «попереднього споживчого кредитування», яка базується на завчасному оформленні необхідної документації щодо видачі кредиту на товар/послугу та миттєвому задоволенню позову клієнта за допомогою ІТ-технологій.
Практичне значення мають запропоновані рекомендації щодо розвитку споживчого кредитування АТ КБ «ПриватБанк».

The object of the research is the activity of banks in the sphere of consumer lending of JSC CB «PrivatBank».
The purpose of the qualification work is to summarize the main trends of the consumer lending market of Ukraine, as well as to identify the main problems that hinder its development.
Methods of research: in the process, the following research methods were used: abstract-logical - for the analysis of scientific literature for systematic evaluation (in determining the nature of consumer credit); statistical and economic - to assess the consumer credit market in Ukraine, assess the competitive advantages of banks in the market and the effectiveness of their lending activities; systematic approach - to substantiate the conclusions and proposals for improving the consumer credit operations at JSC CB «PrivatBank» and increase their efficiency and reduce risk. Research methods: abstract-logical; statistical and economic; system analysis.
The scientific novelty of the results consists in the method of «pre-consumer crediting» is proposed, which is based on the early registration of the necessary documentation on granting a loan for a product / service and instant satisfaction of a customer's claim using IT technologies. The model of assessment of creditworthiness of an individual due to the differentiation of existing and potential clients by the degree of risk has been improved. These changes will improve the quality of the bank's loan portfolio and «grind» the gaps of the current system of assessing the financial condition of the borrower, which were manifested, first of all, in the lack of attention to small loans. There was further development of interpretation of the concepts of «consumer credit» and «credit policy». Consumer credit is a type of credit given to individuals for current needs to meet end-use and non-business related activities. That is, the author emphasizes the connection with final consumption, which actually reveals the whole essence of the concept. A bank's credit policy is a system of principles and components that determine a bank's strategy and tactics for attracting funds and further channeling them to lending to bank customers and regulating the credit facility as a whole.
The recommendations on the development of consumer credit of PrivatBank JSC are of practical importance.
