Особистісні характеристики наркозалежних і особливості їхньої реабілітації довгий час розглядалася в рамках, насамперед, медичної моделі, чим і обумовлені труднощі, пов'язані з необхідністю зміни підходів до профілактичного й корекційно-реабілітаційного процесів. В останні роки актуалізується тенденція до розгляду проблеми наркоманії з позиції біопсихосоціальної парадигми, центральною ланкою якої є визначення залежності як багатомірного конструкту, що включає в себе сукупність когнітивних, емоційних, поведінкових, фізіологічних і біохімічних феноменів. Зміни в процесі споживання опійних наркотиків відбуваються на всіх рівнях психіки й проявляються в зниженні пізнавальних здібностей, зміні емоційно-вольової сфери, свідомості й самосвідомості. Необхідність аналізу специфічних умов адаптації наркозалежної особистості пов'язана з потребою оптимізації найбільш ефективних умов, що забезпечують оптимальність адаптаційного процесу в соціумі. Виявлення актуальних для наркозалежної особистості психологічних умов адаптації дозволить збагатити існуючі психокорекційні підходи й намітити нові стратегії реабілітаційної діяльності. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у тому, що теоретично та емпірично обґрунтувано використання методів арт-терапії для корекції емоційних станів осіб з наркотичною залежністю.

The personal characteristics of drug addicts and the peculiarities of their rehabilitation have long been considered within the framework of, first of all, the medical model, which is due to the difficulties associated with the need to change approaches to preventive and corrective rehabilitation processes. In recent years, there is a tendency to consider the problem of addiction from the standpoint of biopsychosocial paradigm, the central element of which is the definition of dependence as a multidimensional construct that includes a set of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, physiological and biochemical phenomena. Changes in the process of opium drug use occur at all levels of the psyche and are manifested in a decrease in cognitive abilities, changes in the emotional and volitional sphere, consciousness and self-awareness. The need to analyze the specific conditions of adaptation of the drug addict is associated with the need to optimize the most effective conditions that ensure the optimality of the adaptation process in society. Identifying the psychological conditions of adaptation relevant to the drug addict will enrich the existing psycho-correctional approaches and outline new strategies for rehabilitation. The scientific novelty of the work is that the use of art therapy methods for the correction of emotional states of people with drug addiction is theoretically and empirically substantiated.
