Мета дослідження: теоретично обґрунтувати й експериментально перевірити умови та засоби розвитку соціально-особистісної компетентності викладачів ЗВО у процесі професійної підготовки у вищій школі. В роботі визначено ступінь розробленості досліджуваної проблеми у філософській, психолого-педагогічній науковій літературі; з'ясовано сутність поняття соціально-особистісної компетентності майбутнього викладача зво; обґрунтовано педагогічні умови формування соціально-особистісної компетентності майбутніх викладачів; розроблено рекомендації щодо розвитку соціально-особистісної компетентності майбутнього викладача зво; проведено дослідження впливу ігрових технологій, а саме імітаційних ігор на процес формування соціально-особистісної компетентності викладачів зво. Наукова новизна полягає: у теоретичному обґрунтуванні умов розвитку соціально-особистісної компетентності майбутнього викладача зво; в уточненні і конкретизації сутності понять «компетенція», «компетентність», «соціально-особистісна компетентність майбутнього викладача зво».
