Здатність до саморегуляції в широкому сенсі полягає у свідомому умінні управляти своїм психічним станом і поведінкою для досягнення життєвих цілей. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у вивчені індивідуально-психологічних компонентів саморегуляції в зв’язку з ознаками латеральної організації мозку. Та розгляд стильових особливостей саморегуляції в залежності від міжпівкульової асиметрії мозку.

The place and role of self-regulation in human life is quite obvious, given that almost all of our lives are many forms of activities, actions, acts of communication and other purposeful activities. It is purposeful arbitrary activity that realizes relationships with the real world, with the environment and social conditions. Self-regulation of behavior and activity is one of the most important functions of the human psyche. The ability to self-regulate in a broad sense is the conscious ability to control their mental state and behavior to achieve life goals. The scientific novelty of the work is the study of individual psychological components of self-regulation in connection with the signs of lateral organization of the brain. And consideration of stylistic features of self-regulation depending on the interhemispheric asymmetry of the brain.
