Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 60 pages of printed text, including 5 tables and 6 figures. The list of references includes contains 59 sources. The object – introduction and acclimatization of forest cultures in Zaporizhzhia. The subject of research – the parks of Zaporizhzhia: Central Park of Culture and Leisure “Dubovy Hai,” Park of Labor Glory, and the park in Pavlo-Kichkas. The purpose of the study : to assess the success of introduction and acclimatization of forest cultures in Zaporizhzhia using selected parks as examples, and to identify promising species for use in urban landscaping. Research methods – methods of plant inventory, methods of evaluating the success of introduction and acclimatization of plants, methods of assessing plant viability. The study includes an analysis of scientific literature on the topic of plant introduction and acclimatization, an inventory of woody plants and the proportion of forest cultures in three parks of Zaporizhzhia, and an assessment of their viability. Based on the obtained data, conclusions were drawn regarding the success of introduction and acclimatization of forest cultures in Zaporizhzhia. The scientific novelty of the results lies in the study of acclimatization of introduced species under the conditions of Zaporizhzhia, which combines a dry steppe climate with a high level of technogenic load — a context previously insufficiently studied — and in the comprehensive analysis of plant viability. The practical of the results consists in the development of practical recommendations for the introduction and acclimatization of forest cultures in Zaporizhzhia.
