N : The work is presented on 60 pages of printed text, 1 table, 5 figures. The list of references includes 41 sources. The object is children's psychological trauma of the war. On February 24, 2022, after the beginning of the full-scale attack of the Russian Federation on Ukrainian lands, the life of Ukraine and Ukrainians changed, it affected every Ukrainian, but the biggest impression was left and is left on our smallest inhabitants - children. The war was a great test for all of us. For many people, especially children, especially those who have been or are in a war zone, this has become a psychologically traumatic factor. The decree of the President of Ukraine No. 64/2022 imposed martial law on the territory of Ukraine in connection with the military aggression of a neighboring country, which has been extended to this day. As a result, children witnessed what most adults do not want to see: destroyed houses, killed pets, loss of relatives, loss of friends, overcrowding and unsanitary conditions, lack of freedom of movement, uncontrolled emotions, cold and hunger, fear, terror, pain, sadness, artillery shelling, etc. The scientific novelty consists in clarifying the essence of the concept of "mental trauma" in the scientific literature, determining the factors of its formation and developing recommendations for overcoming psychotrauma by means of art therapy.uk
