N : The work is presented on 69 pages of printed text, contains 1 table and 8 figures. The list of links includes 54 sources. The object of the study was field-protected forest belts in the eastern part of the Zaporozhye region. The purpose of the work is to assess the state of field protection plantings, which are the center of hunting grounds in the east of the Zaporozhye region, determine the impact of military operations on the change in the quantitative and qualitative composition of the fauna of the territory and develop proposals for the post-war restoration of field protection plantings and hunting grounds in this region. The subject of the study is changes in the species and quantitative composition of Woody and shrubby vegetation of forest belts and changes in the faunal composition during the war years in the eastern part of the Zaporozhye region. Research methods: observation, analysis, description, Field Research. The novelty of the work consists in studying changes in the state of artificial forest stands that occurred under the influence of military operations in the east of Ukraine. A significant deterioration in the condition of field protection stands under the influence of military operations in the east of the Zaporozhye region was revealed due to strong liquefaction, and in some places almost complete destruction of these forest stands. It was found that there was a significant decrease in the number of European roe deer, wild boar and Wolf, as well as an increase in the presence of common pheasant, Gray Partridge, Hare-Hare, common Fox and stone Marten. A classification of factors that influenced changes in the quantitative and qualitative composition of the territory's fauna during military operations has been compiled. A multi-stage post-war restoration of Forestry in the affected areas is proposed, which includes mine clearance and neutralization of ammunition, cleaning of toxic substances and vegetation residues, and conducting comprehensive monitoring of environmental objects before reforestation. For faster formation of forest belts and increasing the efficiency of reforestation, it is recommended to use combined planting of trees and shrubs of different ages, priority laying of artificial forest plantations along the migration routes of hunting animals and conduct careful accounting with an assessment of the condition of all types of hunting animals that remained to live in the affected areas.uk
