N : The work is presented on 92 pages of printed text, contains 2 figures, 6 tables, 3 appendices. The list of references includes 68 sources. The object of the study: eating disorders in women. According to estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 70% of life expectancy and general health of the population is determined by lifestyle, where nutrition plays a leading role, while heredity and environmental conditions affect 15% each. Eating behavior covers a wide range of processes related to food intake, including physiological aspects, such as food search and digestion, as well as psychological components, in particular emotions, attitudes towards food and formed habits. These aspects are closely related to individual characteristics, sociocultural influences and age-related changes that determine eating patterns. Today, the study of eating behavior as a psychological aspect that affects the quality of life is of particular importance due to the growth of problems associated with eating disorders caused by psychological, social and economic factors. In the context of the war in Ukraine, these problems are exacerbated by chronic stress and instability, which increase the negative impact on the psycho-emotional state and eating habits of the population. Therefore, the problem of nutrition and eating behavior is extremely relevant in the modern world, especially among women. The hectic pace of life often prevents adherence to a healthy diet, which causes numerous psychosomatic disorders. These conditions, in turn, lead to psychological and social maladjustment of many women. Psychological science has established a number of patterns that explain a person's perception of their own body and the choice of eating behavior models. At the same time, the issues of age-related features of the manifestations of eating disorders in women and their impact on the effectiveness of psychological approaches to correction and prevention remain insufficiently studied. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that psychological factors of the development of RCP have been identified. The study deepened the understanding of the role of emotional (anxiety, depression), cognitive (perfectionism, distorted body perception), personal (impulsivity, rigidity) and interpersonal (social pressure, family conflicts) factors in the formation of RCP.uk
