dc.descriptionБібік Є. В.
N : The thesis consists of 60 pages, incorporating 5 tables and 8 figures, and is supported by 74 literature sources, including 7 in foreign languages. Object of the Study: Biotopes facilitating the development of mosquito larvae within the zone impacted by the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP). Subject of the Study: Alterations in the ecological conditions of biotopes and their effects on the development and population dynamics of mosquito larvae. Research Methods: The methodology includes field surveys of water bodies to gather data on hydrological parameters and vegetation, laboratory analysis of collected samples for mosquito species identification, and hydroecological and statistical methods to evaluate changes in biotopes and population dynamics. This integrated approach ensures a thorough analysis of ecological changes. Scientific Novelty: The research offers a comprehensive examination of the effects of the anthropogenic disaster caused by the Kakhovka HPP destruction on mosquito larvae biotopes. It establishes, for the first time, correlations between alterations in the hydrological regime, transformations in aquatic vegetation, and mosquito population dynamics in the post-catastrophe period, which holds particular significance under wartime conditions in Ukraine.uk
