N : The work is presented on 62 pages of printed text, 7 tables, 4 figures, 4 appendices. The list of references includes 53 sources. The object of the study is coping strategies of people who have lost their jobs. One of the widespread social phenomena associated with the socio-economic crisis and political instability in the country is the problem of unemployment, the consequence of which is the uncertainty of people who have lost their jobs in the future, the inability to financially provide for themselves and their families, a decrease in social status, the need to choose a profession that often does not correspond to the person’s preferences, the lack of a professional environment and labor relations. All this has a negative impact on both the social and psychological state of the unemployed and can lead to the development of depression, somatic diseases and deviant behavior. Thus, unemployment has not only economic, but also individual-psychological consequences. In this regard, the role of personal activity, initiative, ability and readiness of each member of society to review their life guidelines and attitudes is significantly increased. The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in identifying the specifics of coping strategies in the context of job loss and in developing psychological recommendations for supporting individuals during periods of professional instability.uk
