Лексичні одиниці із семантикою деструкції в англійській мові та їхній фразеологічно-паремійний потенціал: когнітивний аспект

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота – 54 стор., 66 джерел. Об’єкт дослідження: англомовні фразеологізми, паремії, у яких ключовим компонентом виступає лексика із семантикою деструкції. Мета роботи: розкриття особливостей структури й семантики лексичних одиниць із деструктивним компонентом з когнітивного ракурсу в сучасній англійській мові. Теоретико-методологічні засади: функціонування семантики лексичних одиниць з деструктивним значенням в англійській мові (Корень О. В., Дениско П. В., Молгамова Л., Щокіна О., Bundgaard P., Kazbekova E., Lakoff G., Johnson M., Mansouri A., Richards J. C., Ruenroeng C.). Отримані результати: найбільш часто вживаними в англомовному дискурсі концептуальними метафорами вираження деструкції є «Деструкція як знищення», «Деструкція як завдання шкоди», «Деструкція як війна». Важливим для визначення концептуальної метафори вираження деструкції є рівень когнітивної доступності, тобто рівень подібних семантичних відтінків в їх структурі. Вираження семантики руйнування у фразеологічних виразах та пареміях відбувається часто за допомогою мовних стилістичних засобів: метафори, метонімії, антитези (Деркач А.). Завдяки цьому підсилюється атрактивна функція даних висловлювань. Серед найбільш вживаних паремій з деструктивним значенням є прислівʼя, які виконують комунікативну функцію та мають переважно інші конотативні результативні значення.

EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of the semantics features of English phraseological units, paremias, established speech formulas with the key component of destruction. The object of the work can be defined as the English phraseological units and paremias which have their proper stylistic and lexical-grammatical structure that determines, from a cognitive point of view, destructive contextual meaning. The main aim of the research is to reveal the peculiarities of the structure and semantics of lexical items with a destructive component from the cognitive perspective in modern English. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - to study in detail lexical items with the semantics of destruction in English from the point of view of cognitive linguistics; - to analyse the means of expressing destructive semantic; - to analyze the cognitive and semantic aspects of phraseological units and paremias in English with destructive semantics. In the following research the concept of “destruction” is defined from the point of view of philosophical science. Two types of conceptual metaphor with a destructive meaning have been identified: homeoconceptual and paraconceptual (Lakoff G., Johnson M., Humar M., Bundgaard P., Hart C.). The results prove that the semantic interpretation of destructive meaning of English phraseological units and paremias implies determination of structural and denotative aspects of statements. The scientific novelty of the presented research lies in the in-depth study of the problems of destructive semantics of the English language at the phraseological and parlance levels.
