Специфіка відтворення творів Агати Крісті українською мовою

Abstract

UA : Об’єкт дослідження: роман А. Крісті “The Body in the Library” та його українські переклади «Знахідка в бібліотеці» (пер. В. Мусієнка) та «Тіло у бібліотеці» (пер. В. Шовкуна). Мета роботи полягає у визначенні специфіки відтворення творів Агати Крісті українською мовою та аналізі перекладацьких стратегій, спрямованих на збереження змістової, стилістичної та культурної адекватності тексту. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення сучасної теорії перекладу, зокрема концепції І. Евен-Зохара, А. Лефевера, Л. Венуті, напрацювання вітчизняних і зарубіжних вчених у галузі перекладознавства та лінгвостилістики (Бойко Я., Зорівчак Р., Козачук А., Коптілов В., Ніколова В., Фінкель О., Шмігер Т.). Отримані результати: у ході дослідження з’ясовано, що переклад творів Агати Крісті вимагає комплексного поєднання лінгвістичної точності та культурної адекватності. Переклади В. Мусієнка та В. Шовкуна демонструють системне використання граматичних та лексичних трансформацій для досягнення синтаксичної природності українського тексту. Значну складність становить передача культурно маркованих реалій. Збереження ідіостилю Агати Крісті досягається через увагу до ритміки тексту, діалогічності, лаконічності висловлювання та психологічної нюансованості. Переклад адекватно відтворює жанрові особливості класичного детективу. Окремо встановлено, що помірне підсилення експресивності деяких описів є результатом компенсації структурних відмінностей англійської й української мов та не порушує загальної стилістичної цілісності твору.

EN : The study revealed that the translation of Agatha Christie's works requires a complex combination of linguistic accuracy and cultural adequacy. The translations of V. Musienko and V. Shovkun demonstrate the systematic use of grammatical and lexical transformations to achieve syntactic naturalness of the Ukrainian text. The transfer of culturally marked realities is a significant difficulty. The preservation of Agatha Christie's idiostyle is achieved through attention to the rhythm of the text, dialogicity, laconicity of expression and psychological nuance. The aim of the research paper is to determine the specifics of the reproduction of Agatha Christie's works in Ukrainian and to analyze translation strategies aimed at preserving the content, stylistic and cultural adequacy of the text. The aim determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - to investigate the theoretical foundations of literary translation and the preservation of the author's style; - to outline the specifics of the translation of works of the detective genre; - to analyze typical translation difficulties in the reproduction of detective prose; - to identify and characterize grammatical transformations in the translation of the novel “The Body in the Library”; -to investigate the features of lexical transformations and to analyze the methods of translating realia. The research results demonstrate that the translation adequately reproduces the genre features of the classic detective story. It was also separately established that the moderate enhancement of the expressiveness of some descriptions is the result of compensation for the structural differences between the English and Ukrainian languages and does not violate the overall stylistic integrity of the work.
