N : The work is presented on 69 pages of printed text, 12 references. The object of the study is mathematical models of ecological systems evolution. The subject of the study is the evolution processes of biological systems. The aim of the study is to develop stochastic mathematical models of biological systems related to the evolution of ecological systems. The method of research is mathematical modeling. The qualification paper investigates the existing main mathematical models of dynamic processes in ecological systems and the primary approaches to constructing such models. It examines methods for modeling changes in ecological systems across the main types of mathematical models of these systems. The modern concept of constructing stochastic models of population dynamics and the peculiarities of incorporating random factors into these models are analyzed. Stochastic models of the processes of reproduction and mortality within biological populations are developed, and the methodology for studying the dynamics of multidimensional processes considering the influence of random factors is discussed. The possibility of improving mathematical modeling of controlled ecological system evolution through the use of optimal control methodology is explored. Prospects for further research are related to identifying the parameters of evolution equations, quality criteria, and constraints on control variables and system trajectories in optimal control models.uk
