N : The work is presented on 56 pages of printed text, contains 1 figure, 2 tables. The list of references includes 40 sources. The object of the study is the professional activity of commanders of combat units. In the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the issue of studying the features of the personal components of veterans is important not only from the point of view of the uniqueness of the experience of the Ukrainian military, because currently only Ukraine has experience of a real regular war, in which people play the main role, but also from the aspect of studying the transformation processes that military personnel go through during military service. The socio-psychological study of military personnel is a direction of psychological support, as well as an important element of training future military personnel, in particular unit leaders. Combat intuition is based on the individual combat experience of the military, his professional knowledge and emotional-volitional qualities and cognitive information processing. Thanks to combat intuition, the commander is able to effectively navigate in a combat situation and predict possible enemy actions, thanks to which he can choose the optimal strategy for controlling the unit in cases where the usual forms of combat are ineffective or impossible. However, intuitive decisions can also reduce efficiency or have certain risks. Unfortunately, despite the experience of at least two major wars in world history and a large number of local clashes, the psychological aspects of the military's personality, including their cognitive abilities, are poorly studied. In modern psychological science, despite the presence of research on the phenomenon of intuition, crisis management, and the psychology of military management, we do not have enough information about such specific concepts as combat intuition, despite its importance for personnel training. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time the phenomenon of combat intuition is considered in the conditions of a full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war through the prism of such components as the level of personal anxiety of the commander and his value system.uk
