N : Master’s Qualification Thesis – 75 pages, 4 tables, 2 figures, 3 appendices, 28 references. Object of the study: a rehabilitation program based on a multidisciplinary approach to addressing the developmental challenges of children with autism spectrum disorders. The aim of the study is to explore the effectiveness of a multidisciplinary approach in the rehabilitation of children with ASD in specialized departments. The thesis seeks to determine how the integration of various professionals (psychologists, speech therapists, healthcare providers, educators, occupational therapists, and physical therapists) can enhance the rehabilitation process and support the child’s socialization and development. To achieve the defined goals and objectives, the following research methods were used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, analysis of intervention protocols and assessment scales (ADOS, GMFM, PEDI), creation of individual records, and methods of mathematical statistics. The thesis describes the specific role of occupational therapy in comprehensive rehabilitation, focusing on the development of gross and fine motor skills and task performance, in collaboration with other specialists in the multidisciplinary team. It outlines the key responsibilities of the occupational therapist and provides recommendations for the gradual increase of task complexity to support cognitive development in children aged 5–7 with mild ASD. The study’s findings demonstrate that the coordinated efforts of all specialists in a multidisciplinary team are effective within a specialized department, as evidenced by statistically significant improvements in the assessed indicators.uk
