Процес психологічного відокремлення дочки від матері є важливим етапом становлення особистості та формування здорових сімейних взаємин. В сучасних умовах цей процес часто ускладнюється різними факторами, такими як зміна традиційних сімейних цінностей, пізній вік створення власної сім'ї, економічна залежність молоді від батьків, що робить питання сепарації особливо важливим для дослідження. Наукова новизна полягає у розширенні уявлень про психологічні механізми сепарації в дочірньо-материнських стосунках та виявленні факторів, що впливають на цей процес.
