Ідіоматика у кінематографічному перекладі (на матеріалі кінофільму «Рубі Спаркс»)

Abstract

UA : Об’єкт дослідження: ідіоматика у англомовному кінематографічному дискурсі. Мета роботи: розкриття лексико-семантичних та структурно-стильових трансформацій при перекладі ідіоматичних виразів, їх систематизація та виявлення способів їх перекладу.Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення теоретичних досліджень ідіоматики та теорії перекладу (І. Корунець, І. Дерік, Г. Кузенко, А. Мельник, П. Іванов, Ф. Палмер, Ш. Баллі, Ф. Женен, П. Сімпсон,Д. Лубенс, Л. Сміт), а також кіноперекладу (М. Берді, Дж. Андерсон, Я. Чанг, Умберто Еко). Отримані результати: розкрито сутність понять «ідіоматика»,«ідіома», досліджено значення та роль використання ідіоматичних виразів, проаналізовано підходи до класифікації типів ідіом та фразеологізмів з виокремленням їх структурно-стильових, лексико-семантичних особливостей. Проведено систематизацію 324 англомовних фразеологічних виразів, використаних у кінофільмі «Рубі Спаркс» та розглянуто способи перекладу досліджуваних ідіом, до яких належать: еквівалентний переклад, переклад за допомогою приблизної чи прямої ідіоматичної аналогії та описовий переклад. Досліджено трансформаційні зміни при перекладі, серед яких як лексичні так і граматичні трансформації, а також запропоновано шляхи якісного перекладу ідіом з метою уникнення перекладацьких помилок.

EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of idioms and their translation, focusing on achieving quality in the cinematic translation of the film "Ruby Sparks". The object of the work is idiomatic expressions in English-language cinematic discourse, their systematization, usage, and translation within the film "Ruby Sparks" with a focus on comparative and translational aspects. The main aim of the paper is to reveal the lexical-semantic and structural-stylistic transformations in the translation of idiomatic expressions, to systematize them and to identify the ways of their translation. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - establishment of the theoretical foundations for the study of idioms; exploration of the essence of the concepts "idiomaticity" and "idiom";- analysis of the approaches to the classification of types of idioms and phraseological units; - identification and description the structural-stylistic and lexical-semantic features of the phenomena under investigation;- examination of methods of translating idioms with the disclosure of the main problems encountered in their translation and perception; - investigation and description of the transformational changes that occur with idioms while translating from English to Ukrainian. The practical significance of the study lies in the potential use of its results during practical sessions in translation studies. The scientific novelty lies in the detailed analysis and investigation of the structural, stylistic, and lexical features of idioms, as well as addressing the issue of their quality in translation from English to Ukrainian.
