N : The work is presented on 53 pages of printed text, contains 4 tables, 3 figures, 2 appendices. The list of references includes 29 sources. The object of the study is the addictive behavior of adolescents. Modern society is faced with the problem of the spread of addictive behavior among adolescents, which poses a serious threat to both the physical and mental health of the younger generation. Addiction (from the Latin addictio - "passion, inclination") is a form of dependence, manifested in a persistent desire of an individual to a certain activity or use of substances, despite the negative consequences. Accordingly, addictive behavior is a type of deviant behavior in which an individual tries to escape reality by changing his psycho-emotional state through external influences (for example, psychoactive substances, gambling, excessive use of gadgets, etc.). Adolescence is a critical period in the formation of a personality, when the influence of the family as the first and most important social institution becomes particularly important. It is in the family environment that basic behavioral models, habits, value systems, and lifestyles are formed. The scientific novelty of the study lies in identifying the specifics of the influence of different styles of parental attitude on the level of adolescents' tendency to addictive behavior in the conditions of the modern sociocultural environment.uk
