У роботі проаналізовано теоретико-методологічні підходи до розуміння поняття емоційного інтелекту; охарактеризовано молодший шкільний вік як сенситивний період для розвитку емоційного інтелекту; розглянуто засоби та методи розвитку емоційного інтелекту учнів початкової школи; розроблено та експериментально перевірено програму розвитку емоційного інтелекту учнів початкової школи.
