Культурні особливості твору Артуро Ісласа “Thanksgiving Border Crossing”: перекладацький аспект

Мета роботи: виявити культурні особливості перекладу твору “Thanksgiving Border Crossing” з англійської мови на українську. Теоретико-методологічні засади: основні положення щодо перекладу міжкультурної художньої літератури: О. Потебня, О. Білецький, М. Алексєєв; основні положення перекладу культуронімів: В. Кабакчі, О. Верещагін, В. фон Гумбольдт.

EN : The presented thesis addresses the analysis of translation of culturally marked vocabulary in the story “Thanksgiving Border Crossing” by Arturo Islas. The object of the work can be defined as culturally marked vocabulary and its translation into Ukrainian. The main aim of the paper is to identify the cultural features of the translation of the short story “Thanksgiving Border Crossing” from English into Ukrainian. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: – analyze the features of transculturality and translingualism; – determine the difficulties in fiction translation; – analyze the peculiarities of foreign language sprinkles and cultural idioms; – offer the author’s own translation of the studied units into Ukrainian.
