Питання гендерно-специфічної мотивації лідерства залишається одним із найцікавіших у соціальній психології та теорії організаційної поведінки. Воно тісно пов'язане з концепцією лідерства. Не використовуючи примусові форми влади, можна правомірно говорити про лідерство в ситуаціях, коли воно намагається вплинути на поведінку інших членів колективу. У поєднанні з тим, що гендерний підхід активно практикується в багатьох галузях науки, наприклад у психології, дослідження лідерських якостей, тобто їх гендерних характеристик, є предметом серйозного вивчення сучасної психологічної науки. Дослідження ґендерних особливостей мотивації лідерства — це дослідження ґендерних характеристик, таких як стереотипи лідерів, ґендерна соціалізація та ґендерна самоідентифікація. Наукова новизна полягає у тому, що результати дослідження можуть бути використані під час проведення наукових досліджень, у процесі професійної підготовки студентів-психологів та викладачами ЗВО при організації аудиторної та позааудиторної роботи студент.

The issue of gender-specific leadership motivation remains one of the most interesting in social psychology and the theory of organizational behavior. It is closely related to the concept of leadership. Without using coercive forms of power, one can legitimately talk about leadership in situations where it tries to influence the behavior of other team members. In combination with the fact that the gender approach is actively practiced in many fields of science, for example in psychology, the study of leadership qualities, that is, their gender characteristics, is a subject of serious study in modern psychological science. The study of gender characteristics of leadership motivation is the study of gender characteristics such as stereotypes of leaders, gender socialization, and gender self-identification. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the results of the study can be used during scientific research, in the process of professional training of psychology students and teachers of higher education institutions in the organization of classroom and extracurricular work of students.
