Профілактика ВІЛ/СНІД серед уразливих груп у громаді

Abstract

Мета дослідження: теоретично обгрунтувати та проаналізувати систему заходів з профілактики ВІЛ/СНІДу, спрямованих на уразливі групи в Запорізькій громаді. Об’єкт дослідження: профілактика ВІЛ/СНІДу серед уразливих груп у громаді. Предмет дослідження: система заходів та програм, спрямованих на профілактику ВІЛ/СНІДу серед уразливих груп у Запорізькій громаді. Методи дослідження: теоретичні: аналіз і узагальнення наукових джерел з теми дослідження, законодавчих актів, що стосуються ВІЛ/СНІДу в громаді; емпіричні: огляд існуючих профілактичних програм, стандартів надання послуг, та аналіз статистичних даних та визначення сильних і слабких сторін системи профілактики в громаді, її можливостей та перешкод. Теоретичне значення полягає в уточненні і конкретизації сутності понять «профілактика», «методи профілактики», «види профілактики (первинна, вторинна, третинна», «ВІЛ/СНІД», «медична профілактика», «соціальна профілактика», «ключові групи/уразливі групи»; «профілактична програма», «громада». Практичне значення дослідження полягає у визначенні конкретних потреб та ризиків уразливих груп щодо ВІЛ/СНІДу та розробці та впровадженні на практиці ефективних стратегій профілактики, які враховують специфіку громади. Галузь використання: територіальна громада, державні соціальні служби, неурядові організації, заклади охорони здоров’я та освіти.

EN : The qualification work consists of an introduction, 3 parts, findings, a list of references (97 items). The relevance of the topic in the context of global and regional HIV/AIDS epidemic problems is very timely for several key reasons: 1) the spread of the HIV epidemic remains a serious global health threat, especially in countries with high prevalence rates; 2) prevention is the main tool in the strategy to curb the spread of infection; 3) many population groups, such as: drug users, sex workers, LGBTQ+ community – remain more engaged in the context of the epidemic than others. Preventive measures targeted at these groups can significantly reduce the risks of infection and expand access to testing and treatment services. The purpose of the study: to theoretically substantiate and analyze the system of HIV/AIDS prevention measures aimed at vulnerable groups in the Zaporizhzhia community. The object of the study: theoretically substantiation and analysis the system of HIV/AIDS prevention measures aimed at vulnerable groups in the Zaporizhzhya community. The subject of the study: the prevention of HIV/AIDS among vulnerable groups in the community. The research tasks: - to analyze theoretical positions regarding the research object; effectiveness of existing prevention programs; - to study the role of educational and information campaigns in preventing HIV/AIDS among vulnerable groups and their impact on behavior change; - to analyze the availability and quality of testing and counseling services for vulnerable groups; - to formulate the specific recommendations for improving the prevention system and increasing its effectiveness for vulnerable groups in the community. Part 1 “Relevance of the HIV/AIDS Epidemic in the Context of Global and Regional Problems” discusses the relevance of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the context of global and regional problems, analyzing the epidemiological situation worldwide, in Ukraine, and specifically in the Zaporizhia region, while Chapter 2 focuses on the theoretical foundations of HIV/AIDS prevention. Part 2 “Theoretical foundations of HIV/AIDS prevention” defines the concept of prevention, including medical, social, and structural specialized prevention, and different intervention levels for various population categories; characterizes primary prevention programs; discusses harm reduction programs as examples of secondary prevention in HIV/AIDS; describes key/vulnerable population categories in relation to HIV/AIDS; and explores the interactions between social services, the community, and members of vulnerable groups. Part 3 “Activities of the “CF "Hope” in preventive work in the field of HIV/AIDS in the Zaporizhzhya community” provides information about the charitable organization "Hope Charity Fund," and section 3.2 details the projects undertaken by this organization during the period 2002-2022. The results of the research can be used in the work of teachers of higher education institutions in the process of developing methodological support for future social pedagogues; in the work of non-profit organizations, hospitals and local authorities of the city of Zaporizhia and the Zaporizhia region.
