Магічний дискурс в оригіналі і перекладі «Поттеріани» Дж. К. Роулінґ

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота – 105 стор., 100 джерел, 4 додатки Об’єкт дослідження: магічний дискурс та його маркери в сучасній художній літературі для дітей. Мета роботи: комплексне вивчення особливостей магічного дискурсу, віднайдення його маркерів в оригіналі та перекладі творів Джоан Ролінґ, а також оцінка якості зроблених українською мовою перекладах гепталогії. Теоретико-методологічні засади: наукові дослідження дискурсу та різних підходів до його тлумачення (З. С. Харріс, Т. А. ван Дейк, К. Серажим, М. Стаббс, В. І. Карасик, Ф. С. Бацевич та ін.), проблем та різних підходів до типологізації дискурсу (Ю. Хабермас, І. Р. Корольов, Ю. О. Томчаковська та ін.), визначальних особливостей сучасної літератури для дітей (В. В. Кизилова, В. Мартиненко, С. Н. Грипич та ін.), перекладознавчих засад відтворення художнього тексту в перекладі (Т. Андрієнко, Т. Даньшина та ін.). Отримані результати: у роботі запропоновано найбільш доцільні підходи до трактування та класифікування дискурсу у ракурсі перекладознавства. Вивчено магічний дискурс як особливий тип дискурсу та віднайдено точки дотику з художнім текстом, що дозволило проаналізувати тексти дитячої художньої літератури, а саме найвідоміший цикл творів Дж. К. Ролінґ про Гаррі Поттера. В дослідженні віднайдено та описано лексичні маркери магічного дискурсу у вихідних текстах «Поттеріани» та проаналізувати коректність їх відтворення в перекладі українською мовою. Зазначено найтиповіші засоби перекладу лексичних маркерів магічного дискурсу, описано найчастіші помилки, що їх припускають перекладачі, надано оцінку адекватності виконаних перекладів.

EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the study of magical discourse and its markers, as well as highlighting the markers of magical discourse in J. K. Rowling’s “Potteriana” and studying the problems of translating such texts. The object of research is magical discourse and its markers. The aim of the research is a comprehensive study of the features of magical discourse, finding its markers in the original and translated works of J. K. Rowling, as well as evaluating the quality of Ukrainian translations of heptology. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - deep analysis and systematisation of the theoretical background of discourse theory and identifying genre features of contemporary literature for children; - to characterise the magical discourse and find its markers in the original texts of “Potteriana”, as well as to analyse the accuracy of their reproduction in the Ukrainian translation. The paper analyses many sources of theoretical material and proposes the most appropriate approaches to the interpretation and classification of discourse from the perspective of translation studies. The author has studied magical discourse as a special type of discourse and found points of contact with artistic texts, which allowed us to analyse texts of children's fiction, namely the most famous cycle of works by J. K. Rowling about Harry Potter. The study also allowed us to find markers of magical discourse in the “Potteriana” texts and analyse the correctness of their reproduction in the Ukrainian translation. The scientific novelty lies in the study of magical discourse and its markers, finding common and distinctive features with artistic discourse, as well as identifying markers of magical discourse in the original “Potteriana” texts by Joan Rowling and studying the problems that arise during the translation of such texts.
