Мета дослідження: теоретично обґрунтувати та розробити методику використання художніх творів як засобу естетичного виховання студентів закладу вищої освіти. Об’єкт дослідження: процес естетичного виховання студентів закладу вищої освіти. Предмет дослідження: форми та методи естетичного виховання студентів закладу вищої освіти під час вивчення літератури. У роботі визначено специфіку та особливості естетичного виховання студентів; досліджено потенціал літератури у формуванні естетичної культури студентів; розкрито особливості естетичного виховання студентів закладу вищої освіти на заняттях з літератури; визначено найбільш ефективні форми та методи естетичного виховання студентів під час вивчення літератури. Практичне значення дослідження: розроблені матеріали можуть слугувати теоретичною основою для визначення специфіки естетичного виховання студентів закладу вищої освіти; сформульовані положення та висновки можуть бути використані викладачами літератури у закладах вищої освіти у професійно-педагогічній діяльності.

The work defines the specifics and features of aesthetic education of students; the potential of literature in the formation of students' aesthetic culture was investigated; the peculiarities of aesthetic education of students of a higher education institution in literature classes are revealed; the most effective forms and methods of aesthetic education of students during the study of literature are determined. The practical significance of the research: the developed materials can serve as a theoretical basis for determining the specifics of aesthetic education of students of a higher education institution; formulated provisions and conclusions can be used by teachers of literature in higher education institutions in their professional and pedagogical activities.
