Архітектурний екфрасис в оригіналі і перекладі роману К. Фоллетта "The pillars of tge Earth"

Abstract

UA : Робота викладена на 74 сторінках друкованого тексту. Перелік посилань включає 69 джерел, 6 додатків. Об’єкт дослідження: особливості функціонування екфрасису у оригіналі та перекладі роману “The Pillars Of The Earth” К. Фоллетта. Мета роботи: полягає у тому, щоб дослідити, екфрасис який було вжито в оригіналі роману “The Pillars Of The Earth” К. Фоллетта та оцінити ступінь адекватності його передачі у тексті перекладу. Теоретико-методологічні засади: основні положення про дослідження екфрасису проводилися у роботах О.М. Фрейденберг, Л. М. Геллера, Н.В. Брагінської, Ж.К. Ланна та ін. Отримані результати: екфрасисом можна вважати літературний опис творів візуального, пластичного мистецтва, що має свого автора та певну власну сюжетність, а також може включати в себе опис технічних прийомів, манери чи стилю митця. В роботі були проаналізовані запропоновані класифікації екфрасису та його функції. На основі дослідженого матеріалу, шляхом компеляції існуючих робіт було представлено доповнені переліки класифікацій та функцій екфрасису. Також було запропоновано методику перекладацького аналізу екфрасису на трьох текстових рінях оригіналу та перекладу, для порівняння рівня адекватності передачі досліджуваного феномена. У практичній частині на основі роману “The Pillars Of The Earth” К. Фоллетта були виявленj та проаналізовані екфрасис згідно методики аналізу. Було визначено способи репрезентації досліджуваного феномену в текстах та рівні їх адекватності.

The list of references includes 69 sources, 6 additions.The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of such a topical problem as the ways of representation of ekphrasis in a text. The object of the work can be defined as the ekphrasis that was used in the original and the translation of K. Follett's novel “The Pillars Of The Earth”. The main aim of the paper consists in analyzing the ways of representation of ekphrasis that was used in the original and in the translation of K. Follett's novel “The Pillars Of The Earth” and to assess the degree of their adequacy. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - profound analysis and systematization of the theoretical knowledge about the ekphrasis; - investigation of the analyzing methodology of the ways of representation of ekphrasis in a text. The own definition of a “ekphrasis” is offered in the work. The proposed classifications of ekphrasis and its functions were analyzed in the work. Based on the researched material, by compiling the existing works, supplemented lists of classifications and functions of ekphrasis were presented. A method of linguistic and stylistic analysis of ekphrasis on three text levels of the original and the translation was also proposed to compare the level of adequacy. The scientific novelty of the presented research is that the object of the study is ekphrasis that havent`t been enough studied in translatology point of view. Also important is the material for the study that is the novel “The Pillars Of The Earth” by K. Follett, which has not been thoroughly studied in the scientific literature in this aspect yet.
