Лексико-семантичне поле art/мистецтво в сучасній англійській мові

Abstract

UA : Робота викладена на 70 сторінках друкованого тексту. Перелік посилань включає 171 джерело. Об’єкт дослідження: англійськомовне лексико-семантичне поле, де значення його лексичних одиниць можуть утворювати поняттєву категорію ART/МИСТЕЦТВО. Мета роботи: розгляд лексико-семантичного поля та його структури, виявлення лексико-семантичних особливостей конкретного поля ART/МИСТЕЦТВО в сучасній англійській мові, шляхом аналізу та виявлення ядра, ближньої і дальньої периферії лексико-семантичного поля. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення лексико-семантичного поля розроблені в лінгвістиці (І. В. Арнольд, Ю. Д. Апресян, Л. М. Васильєва, Ю. А. Зацний, Ю. М. Караулов, І. М. Кобозева, М. Н. Нікітіна, З. Д. Попової, О. О. Селіванової, Й. Тріра, Ф. П. Філіна, та ін.). Отримані результати: 1) визначили поняття лексико-семантичного поля та дослідити їх характеристики; 2) узагальнили відмінності семантичного поля від лексико-семантичного та номінативного та виокремили структурні складові лексико-семантичного поля; 3) проаналізували сучасний термін мистецтво; його лінгвістичний статус та специфіку; 4) уточнили структурну організацію лексико-семантичного поля ART/МИСТЕЦТВО; 5) виявили способи творення лексичних та фразеологічних дериватів, що є конституентами лексико-семантичного поля ART/МИСТЕЦТВО.

EN : The work is represented on 70 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 171 sources. The history of the study of the question has so far allowed a lexical-semantic field to be considered a set of lexical units that have a common denotate or meaning, are connected by paradigmatic and associative relations and where this set has a specific core structure – the periphery. The lexical-semantic field in modern linguistics is a tool for describing the lexical system of a language, which allows us to make our approach closer to units of the mental plane, to distinguish the specifics of the national world perception at a certain time stage, through the lexical data. The thematic justification is that a comprehensive study of the word as the basic unit of the language system is an important task of modern linguistics. A major role in solving this problem is played by semantic field theory, which continues to be one of the current trends in modern linguistics. A sufficiently deep study of the question of lexical-semantic fields, namely the lexical – semantic field of ART, allows to investigate it in various aspects, which, in turn, leads to significant conclusions not only in the field of lexicology, linguoculturology, ethno-linguistics, but also the etymology, thus allowing us to expand the study of the evolution of the world view of native speakers. The aim of the study is to examine the lexical-semantic field, identify the lexical-semantic features of a specific musical field in modern English, by analyzing and identifying the core, near and far periphery of the lexico-semantic field.
