Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 51 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 58 sources. Object of research: the specifics of updating intermedia strategies for rethinking the classical text in modern cinema. Purpose: to determine the main forms and mechanisms of rethinking the ideological postulates of aesthetics in the intermedia space of O. Parker's film adaptation. Theoretical and methodological principles: the study is determined by both the general scientific interest in intermedia studies and the need to clarify the process of reformatting one art form by another, as well as the popularity of O. Wilde's novel and its screen version. Results obtained: the theory of intermediality allows us to look closely at the peculiarities of recoding one art form by means of another. In the context of intermedia studies, the theory of film adaptation with an emphasis on film adaptation as a special type of film text occupies an important place. O. Wilde's novel "Portrait of Dorian Gray" is an attractive material for transfer to the screen, each filmmaker presents his own vision of the classic work, joining the rethinking of the foundations of aesthetics. O. Parker's Dorian Gray is an original version of the novel, transforming the plot and image material in accordance with the requirements of modern cinema and creating a bright and spectacular mystical thriller.

Отримані результати: теорія інтермедіальності дозволяє прискіпливо подивитися на особливості перекодування одного виду мистецтва засобами іншого. У контексті інтермедіальних студій важливе місце посідає теорія кіноадаптації з акцентом на екранізації як особливому виду кінотексту. Роман О. Уайлда «Портрет Доріана Грея» є привабливим матеріалом для перенесення на екран, кожний кіномитець представляє власну візію класичного твору, долучаючись до переосмислення основ естетизму. Фільм «Доріан Грей» О. Паркера представляє оригінальну версію роману, трансформуючи сюжетно-образний матеріал у відповідності до вимог сучасного кінематографу та створюючи яскравий і видовищний містичний трилер.
