Роль семантичної деривації у творенні англомовного словника сфери торгівлі

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 63 pages of printed text. The list of references inclides 69 sources. The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of such a topical problem as role of semantic derivation in the creation of the vocabulary of trade sphere in the English language. The object of the work is the vocabulary of the trade sphere in the English language. The main aim of the paper is to highlight the mechanisms of semantic derivation in the creation of neologisms in the English-speaking sphere of trade. It is necessary to solve the following tasks to achieve this goal: – analyze theoretical prerequisites of semantic derivation; – to highlight the role of inner form in semasiological studies; – to establish peculiarities of semantic development of trade lexical units; – to determine the mechanisms of sematic derivation in creating of trade lexicon from synchronic perspective; – to characterize the principles of semantic evolution in the context of conceptual metaphor theory. The study was carried out on the basis of using the following methods and techniques: generalization and systematization method – to study the theoretical material, the method of continuous sampling for the selection of factual material, method of the analysis of dictionary definitions – for the analysis of the semantic of units, the method of etymological analysis – establish internal forms of lexemes, the method of semantic analysis – illuminate mechanisms of semantic derivation, the method of cognitive analysis to establish mechanisms of reinterpretation of the original meaning of lexemes. The scientific novelty of the presented research consists in the attempt to research the role of semantic derivation in creation of the modern English-language vocabulary of the trade sphere.

Метою дослідження є висвітлення механізмів семантичної деривації при творенні англійськомовного словника сфери торгівлі. Теоретико-методологічні засади дослідження ґрунтуються на роботах Є. Я Городецької [Городецкая 2001], В. Г. Гака [Гак 1983], К. Ф. Заболотного [Заболотный 1991] – неологізація лексикону, Дж. Лакофа [Lakoff 1987], М. Джонсона [Johnson, 1981], В. Еванс [Evans, 2006] – теорія концептуальної метафори; Ю. Д. Апресяна [Апресян 2001], М. Ю Варламової [Варламова 2008], Р. І. Стефурака [Стефурак 2008], І. А. Стерніна [Стернин 2001], З. Д. Попової [Попова 2002], К. В. Головенко [Головенко 2012] – принципи семантичних змін. Отримані результати. Принципи вторинної номінації є актуальними як у діахронії так і в синхронії. Асоціативні зв’язки складають основу метафоричного перенесення, яке за результатами дослідження склало базу для утворення нових «торгівельних» лексико-семантичних варіантів на основі вихідних етимологічних значень у 92,4% випадків, тоді як метонімічне перенесення склало лише 7,6%. Проведений лексико-семантичний аналіз довів, що похідні ЛСВ лексем, які конституюють англійськомовний торгівельний лексикон базуються на ряді вихідних доменів, серед яких можна виділити наступні групі: «фізичні об’єкти», «полювання», «змагання» та інше. Проведений етимологічний аналіз базових термінів маркетингу дозволив встановити, що у більшості лексичних одиниць (87,1%) сучасний ЛСВ, який входить до лексикону торгівельної сфери зазнав змін по відношенню до вихідного етимону.
