Лінгвопрагматичні та лінгвостилістичні особливості англомовної епіграми

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 54 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 66 sources. The presented paper is dedicated to the research of a such a topical problem as linguopragmatic and linguostylistic features of English epigrams. The object of the study is English-language epigrams from XVI to XXI centuries. The aim of the study is to analyse and disclose linguopragmatic and linguistic features of the English epigram of the period XVI – XXI centuries. In order to investigate the objectives it is necessary to solve the following tasks: – investigation of the linguopragmatics peculiarities as a direction of modern linguistics; – linguostylistic analysis means of language; – revealing the essence of the concept "epigram" and establish its role as a speech and literary phenomenon; – description the formal features of the English-language epigram; – identification and establishment stylistic features of English-language epigrams. The material of the study was 70 English epigrams, their linguistic and pragmatic features, selected from such collections as English Epigrams. Selected and arranged with introduction, notes, and notices of epigrammatists" by W. Davenport Adams; "A selection of English epigrams" ed. by Joshua Belcher; "English classical epigrams" translated from English by S. Marshak and V. Vasiliev. The scientific novelty consists in the attempt of our own research into the linguistic and pragmatic features of English satirical poems.

Метою дослідження аналіз та розкриття лінгвопрагматичних та лінгвостилістичних особливостей англомовної епіграми періоду XVI – XXI ст. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення теорії дискурсу розроблені в лінгвістиці (Ашурова Д.Ю., Галієва М.Р., Норман Б.Ю., Ярцева В.Н.) та літературознавстві (А.Г. Архангельський, Б.С. Бронштейн, М.Л. Гаспаров, М.Н. Нестеров, Ю.Г. Перлина, Л.С. Піхтовнікова, П. Сорока, О.М. Траченко, Ш.Б. Хіт, Н.А. Чистякова). Отримані результати: епіграма є літературним жанром. В кваліфікаційній роботі досліджуються та аналізуються лінгвопрагматичні та лінгвостилістичні особливості англомовних епіграм. Подається репрезентативний аналіз англомовних епіграм періоду XVI – XXI ст. Епіграми володіють великим ступенем незалежності і тому, якщо їх вирвати з контексту, то вони зберігають цілісність ідеї, яку вони виражають. Структурний аналіз підтвердив класифікацію англомовних епіграм за критерієм наявної кількості рядків, відповідно дворядкові, трирядкові тощо. Головною особливістю епіграм є не тільки їх сатиричний характер, а й метод оцінювання когось або якогось явища.
