Предмет дослідження – педагогічні умови , що забезпечують ефективність формування громадянської та історичної компетентності молодших школярів. В роботі висвітлено теоретичні засади формування громадянської та історичної компетентності молодших школярів; охарактеризувати формування громадянської та історичної компетентності молодших школярів як педагогічну проблему; окреслено психолого-педагогічні особливості формування громадянської та історичної компетентності молодших школярів; визначено й обґрунтовано педагогічні умови формування громадянської та історичної компетентності молодших школярів та експериментально перевірено їхню ефективність.

The object of research is the process of formation of civic and historical competence of junior schoolchildren. The subject of research - pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the formation of civic and historical competence of primary school students. The paper highlights the theoretical foundations of the formation of civic and historical competence of junior high school students; to characterize the formation of civic and historical competence of junior schoolchildren as a pedagogical problem; psychological and pedagogical features of formation of civic and historical competence of junior schoolchildren are outlined; the pedagogical conditions of formation of civic and historical competence of junior schoolchildren are determined and substantiated and their efficiency is experimentally checked.
