Проблема дитячої обдарованості є однією з проблем сучасної науки. Основним принципом роботи навчальних закладів є розкриття в процесі навчання дитячої обдарованості, підготовка висококомпетентністного випускника. Зміст роботи з обдарованими дітьми включає ряд завдань, а саме: сприяти розвитку кожної особистості; якомога раніше виявляти обдаровання кожної дитини і максимально сприяти їхньому розвиткові. Основним підходом у пошуку юних обдаровань варто визнати комплекс заходів: медичних, фізіологічних, психологічних, педагогічних, спрямованих на вирішення цих завдань сім’єю і навчальним закладом. Важливо використовувати різноманітні методики виявлення інтересів і здібностей дітей і надалі спостерігати за їхніми успіхами. Здавалось би, дітям, що виділяються серед однолітків розумовими, творчими здібностями, буде легше вчитися, у них буде менше проблем та труднощів у житті. Однак у закладах освіти, в сім’ї у обдарованих дітей виникає чимало ускладнень. Велика увага повинна бути приділена саморозвитку обдарованих, особистісному самовираженню, тому що сучасне суспільство потребує висококваліфікованих кадрів, основу яких повинні складати обдаровані діти.. Наукова новизна результатів дослідження. Вперше з обдарованими учнями було проведено дослідження рівня розвитку особистісної компетентності обдарованих учнів з метою порівняння із рівнем розвитку особистісної компетентності дітей загальноосвітніх класів тієї ж вікової норми.

The main approach in the search for young talents should be recognized as a set of measures: medical, physiological, psychological, pedagogical, aimed at solving these problems by the family and the educational institution. It is important to use a variety of techniques to identify children's interests and abilities and to continue to monitor their progress. It would seem that children who are distinguished from their peers by their mental and creative abilities will find it easier to learn, they will have fewer problems and difficulties in life. However, in educational institutions, in the family, gifted children have many complications. Much attention should be paid to the self-development of gifted people, personal self-expression, because modern society needs highly qualified personnel, which should be based on gifted children. Scientific novelty of research results. For the first time, a study of the level of development of personal competence of gifted students was conducted with gifted students in order to compare with the level of development of personal competence of children in secondary schools of the same age.
