Кожна людина щодня відчуває великий спектр емоцій, що впливають на всі сфери її діяльності. Емоції надають значний вплив, зокрема, і взаємовідносини людей друг з одним. Особливо це стосується тих взаємин, які є емоційно-близькими, наприклад, відносин між членами сім'ї. Значимість вивчення емоційних аспектів взаємовідносин у ній визнається багатьма дослідниками. Реальність сьогодення ще більше загострює актуальність цієї теми. Складна економічна ситуація у державі, нагнітання певної соціальної та політичної напруги, наростаюча тенденція розпаду сімей, іноді на самому початку її існування, впливає на становище та функціонування сучасної сім'ї. Члени сім'ї часто не вміють грамотно направляти свої взаємини, внаслідок чого виникає велика кількість конфліктів, які сім'я, без навичок, не може вирішити конструктивно. Складність регулювання подібних конфліктів полягає у високій емоційній напруженості у відносинах, а також цінністю відносин для членів сім'ї. Важливо, що без урахування емоційних явищ, що супроводжують усі прояви людини, вирішення конфлікту лише на рівні логіки значно не дотягує за ефективністю. Тому дуже важливо уважно ставитись до цієї сфери сімейних взаємин. Наукова новизна роботи полягає в тому, що був проведений комплексний аналіз теоретичного та емпіричного дослідження особливості використання методів роботи з емоціями у сімейних конфліктах у рамках медіації.

The importance of studying the emotional aspects of relationships in it is recognized by many researchers. The reality of today exacerbates the relevance of this topic. The difficult economic situation in the country, the escalation of certain social and political tensions, the growing trend of family breakdown, sometimes at the very beginning of its existence, affect the position and functioning of the modern family. Family members are often unable to manage their relationships properly, resulting in a large number of conflicts that the family, without skills, cannot resolve constructively. The difficulty of resolving such conflicts lies in the high emotional tension in the relationship, as well as the value of the relationship for family members. It is important that without taking into account the emotional phenomena that accompany all human manifestations, conflict resolution only at the level of logic is far from effective. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to this area of family relationships. The scientific novelty of the work is that a comprehensive analysis of theoretical and empirical research on the peculiarities of the use of methods of working with emotions in family conflicts in mediation.
