Системно-структурні параметри англомовного лексико-семантичного поля JUSTICE (на матеріалі Британського серіалу “Sherlock”)

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 52 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 68 sources. The object of the given study is the lexical-semantic fields JUSTICE and DUTY in modern English. The purpose is to analyze the linguocognitive correlation aspects of the English lexical-semantic fields DUTY AND JUSTICE. The theoretical and methodological foundations: the research is based on the works of national and foreign scientists devoted to actual problems of the concept theory (V.I. Karasyk [Karasyk 2005], D. S. Likhachev [Likhachev 1997], O. S. Kubryakova [Kubryakova 2004], Y. A. Sternin [Sternin 2003], Z. D. Popova [Popova 2003]), in particular the works related to the study of conceptual model creation problems (O. O. Potebnya [Potebnya 1993 ], M. V. Pimenova [Pimenova 2004], N.V. Kryuchkova [Kryuchkova 2005], M. L. Kovshova [Kovsevaya 2006]). The obtained results: the nuclear zone of the lexical-semantic field JUSTICE is formed by the most prototypical representatives of the categories, which sharethe maximum of common properties with the remaining members of these categories and the minimum of properties with members of other categories. The nuclear-peripheral structure of the lexical-semantic field DUTY is subordinated to the semantic peculiarity: from general to individual, from semantically obligatory to optional. All the constituents of this lexical-semantic field are associated with hyperon-hyponymic, that is, genus-species, relations in the lexical system of the language. The aspects of the English lexical-semantic fields DUTY and JUSTICE correlation are in the partial commonality of the lexical meaning of their units. Equity is directly involved in the definition of justice, meaning justice is defined as the general moral sanction of a person's public life, which is viewed primarily by conflicting desires, interests and duties.

Теоретико-методологічні основи: дослідження базується на працях вітчизняних та зарубіжних учених, присвячених актуальним проблемам теорії концепту (В.І. Карасик [Карасик 2005], Д. С. Ліхачов [Лихачев 1997], О. С. Кубрякова [Кубрякова 2004], Ю. А. Стернін). [Стернін 2003], З. Д. Попова [Попова 2003]), зокрема роботи, пов’язані з дослідженням проблем створення концептуальних моделей (О. О. Потебня [Потебня 1993 ], М. В. Піменова [Піменова 2004], Н. В. Крючкова [Крючкова 2005], М. Л. Ковшова [Ковсева 2006]). Отримані результати: ядерну зону лексико-семантичного поля JUSTICE утворюють найбільш прототипові представники категорій, які мають максимум спільних властивостей з рештою членів цих категорій і мінімум властивостей з членами інших категорій.
