Мовні засоби вираження негативних емоцій у романах С. Кінга

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 54 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 69 sources. The presented paper is dedicated to the study of the linguistic category of emotionality in fiction. The subject of the research is linguistic means of implementing the category of emotionality in the text by S. King’s novel “Bag of bones”. The main aim is to identify and analyze linguistic means of representing negative emotions in the text of S. King’s novel “Bag of bones”. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - consider modern approaches to the study of emotion in various areas of science; - consider existing classifications of emotions and their functions; - to identify ways of language representation of emotionality in fiction; - analyze the biography of S. King from the perspective of its influence on the author’s artistic style; - to identify linguistic means of expressing negative emotions in S. King’s novel “Bag of Bones”. In the studied novel by Stephen King, there is a large number of emotional words, presented in the form of three lexical and grammatical classes. These are verbs, nouns and adjectives, as each of these classes carries a special emotional load. The analysis of the use of negative-emotional units indicates the quantitative advantage of the use of adjectives in the novel. The given examples of the use of emotional adjectives reflect not only the external, but also the internal world of a person, his relationship to the surrounding reality. In addition, they help to influence the consciousness and feelings of readers.

Предметом дослідження є мовні засоби реалізації категорії емотивності у тексті роману С. Кінга “Bag of bones” («Мішок з кістками»). Мета роботи полягає у виявленні та аналізі мовних засобів репрезентації негативних емоцій у тексті роману С. Кінга “Bag of bones” («Мішок з кістками»). Теоретико-методологічні засади становлять роботи в галузі лінгвістики емоцій (К. Лободзінська, В. Шидловська, В. Шаховський, H. Diller), дослідження з психології емоцій (Н. Гранько, К. Ізард, О. Скрипченко, W. Lyons), роботи з проблеми оцінки (Г. Кузенко, І. І. Мац), а також дослідження з особливостей жанру «жахів» взагалі, та творчості С. Кінга зокрема (А. Гудманян, В. Кикоть, М. Крупа, N. Caroll, S. Spingesi). Отримані результати. В досліджуваному романі Стівена Кінга присутня велика кількість емотивних слів, представлених у вигляді трьох лексико-граматичних класів. Це дієслова, іменники та прикметники, оскільки кожний з цих класів несе особливе емоційне навантаження. Аналіз вживання негативно-емотивних одиниць вказує на кількісну перевагу використання прикметників у романі. Наведені приклади використання емотивних прикметників відображають не тільки зовнішній, але й внутрішній світ людини, її відношення до оточуючою дійсності. Крім того, вони допомагають впливати на свідомість та почуття читачів.
