Когнітивні аспекти густативної образності художніх текстів Джоан Гарріс

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 67 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 78 sources. Our thesis focuses on the study of specific means of imagery representation of gustatory sensory in the figurative and narrative structure of Joanne Harris’s novels “Chocolate” and “Blackberry Wine”. The topicality of this research is stipulated by the general focus of modern linguistics on anthropological aspects of language and text phenomena. The object of this research is the gustatory sensorics as a source of imagery means of postmodernistic literaty texts. The subject of research is the sensory features of taste and its role in the figurative and narrative structure of novels by Joanne Harris “Chocolate” and “Blackberry Wine”. The research is aimed at the study of the specific features of gustatory sensory perception in the texts of posmodernistic period that is conceptualized in the imagery and narrative structure of Joanne Harris’s novels “Chocolate” and “Blackberry Wine”. The methods of research are predetermined by the purpose, objectives and material under analysis: comparable method; contextually-interpretative; descriptive; definitive; lexicographical; statistical, conceptual, semiotic. The results obtained in the course of the research demonstrated high significance of gustatory sensory images in the figurative and narrative structure of the texts by Joanne Harris “Chocolate” and “Blackberry Wine”, that fully correlates with the general tendency specific for the the XXth century, when corporeal imagery started to be the main source of literaty conceptualization.

Мета роботи полягає в розкритті специфіки переломлення уявлення про сенсорику, представлену сенсорикою смаку, в художній картині світу і яку репрезентацію вона отримує в образно-наративній структурі образних художніх текстів Джоан Гарріс. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення когнітивної поетики, реконструкції когнітивної метафори (Дж. Лакофф, М. Джонсон). лінгвістики тексту, образності художнього тексту. Отримані результати: в ході роботи була проведена систематизація відібраних текстових фрагментів, здійснено їх аналіз шляхом реконструкції концептуальних тропів (метафори, метонімії) і виявлено їх роль і значущість в образно-наративній системі художніх текстів Джоан Гарріс як представниці постмодернізму в літературі. Отримані дані, що засвідчили магістральну роль сенсорики в створенні художньої картини світу аналізованих романів, корелюють із загальною тенденцією, що стосується художньої образності постмодерністської літератури в цілому.
