Реалізація концепту AMBITION в сучасній англійській мові (на матеріалі повісті Е. Хемінгвея “Старий і море”)

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 62 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 80 sources. The object of the given study is the linguoconcept AMBITION in the English speaking world. The purpose is to analyze the components of the linguoconcept AMBITION macrostructure and the means of its realization in the English-speaking world. The theoretical and methodological principles: numerous scientific works of the national and foreign scientists devoted to the actual problems of the concepts theory (V. I. Karasyk, D. S. Likhachev, O. S. Kubryakova, V. I. Mirkin, Y. A. Sternin, Z. D. Popova), including works related to the study of conceptual model creation problems (O. O. Potebnya, M. V. Pimenova, N. V. Kryuchkova, S. V. Kuzlyakin, M. L. Kovshova, A. P. Martyniuk). The obtained results: the periphery consists of the interpretation field that contains the estimations and interpretations of the content of the macroconcept AMBITION among different native speakers. The periphery of this macroconcept is related to the phraseological units of the language. Like any concept, the macroconcept AMBITION has a multicomponent structure and occupies one of the basic places in the modern English-speaking picture of the world. The concept of AMBITITY is reproduced by seminal analysis of the lexeme that denotes it. The definition analysis of the lexemes ambition, ambitious that denote the English macroconcepts AMBITION allows to distinguish the cognitive signs of ambition: desire, determination, wish, wanting, as concept microspheres. Therefore, the meaning of the language for the cognitive science is extremely great, because by means of the language you can objectify intellectual (mental and cognitive) activity, that is to verbalize it.

Мета – проаналізувати компоненти макроструктури лінгвоконцепту AMBITION та засоби його реалізації в англомовному світі. Теоретико-методологічні засади: численні наукові праці вітчизняних і зарубіжних вчених, присвячені актуальним проблемам теорії концептів (В. І. Карасик, Д. С. Ліхачов, О. С. Кубрякова, В. І. Міркін, Ю. А. Стернін, З. Д. Попова), у тому числі роботи, пов’язані з дослідженням проблем створення концептуальних моделей (О. О. Потебня, М. В. Піменова, Н. В. Крючкова, С. В. Кузлякін, М. Л. Ковшова, А. П. Мартинюк). Отримані результати: периферію становить поле інтерпретації, що містить оцінки та інтерпретації змісту макроконцепту АМБІЦІЯ різними носіями мови. Периферія цього макроконцепту пов’язана з фразеологізмами мови. Як і будь-який концепт, макроконцепт AMBITION має багатокомпонентну структуру і займає одне з основних місць у сучасній англомовній картині світу. Концепт AMBITITY відтворюється за допомогою основного аналізу лексеми, яка його позначає.
