Когнітивні особливості вербалізації концепту AFFECTION в англомовній картині світу (на матеріалі творів сучасної американської літератури)

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 53 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 84 sources. The object of the study: the concept of AFFECTION in the American version of modern English. The purpose of the work is to identify and describe the cognitive features of the verbalization of the concept of AFFECTION in the English-speaking picture of the world. Theoretical and methodological foundations: In linguistic research, the concept of love began to appear relatively recently, but like all the concepts related to the sphere of feelings, are in the center of the linguists attention. Among the researchers who analyzed this concept, we can name (Apresyan, Vilms, Vorkacheva, Kuznetsova, Ogarkov, Khutov, Shafikova and others). The obtained results: according to the research data, within the macrostructure of the AFFECTION concept, the interpretive field dominates, the secondary role at the level of the macrostructural organization of the AFFECTION concept is occupied by the perceptual-cognitive component, the conceptual component of the concept is not defined, based on the selected empirical material. So, within the macrostructure of the AFFECTION concept, the interpretive field covers 91.04%. The perceptual-cognitive component is 8.96%. The perceptual component in the selected text fragments is represented only in visual, sound and tactile images and is 4.24%, which is significantly less than the interpretive zone. Missing olfactory and gustatory images, based on selected works of contemporary American fiction. The cognitive component covers 4.7%. A total of 212 representatives were selected from the works of modern American literature, which were distributed to the KO of the AFFECTION concept.

Теоретико-методологічні засади: У лінгвістичних дослідженнях поняття кохання почало з’являтися порівняно нещодавно, але як усі концепти, повʼязані зі сферою почуттів, знаходиться у центрі уваги. Серед дослідників, що аналізували даний концепт, можна назвати (Ю. Д. Апресян, Л. Е. Вільмс, С. Г. Воркачева, Л. Е. Кузнєцова, Г. А. Огарков, Е. Р. Хутов, С. Г. Шафікова) та інших вітчизняних мовознавців. Отримані результати: Згідно з даними дослідження, у межах макроструктури концепту AFFECTION домінує інтерпретаційне поле, другорядну роль на рівні макроструктурної організації концепту AFFECTION займає перцептивно-когнітивна складова, поняттєва складова концепту не визначена, спираючись на відібраний емпіричний матеріал. Отже, у межах макроструктури концепту AFFECTION інтерпретаційне поле охоплює 91,04%.
